Next Generation Safety

Invitation to attend

On behalf of the organising committee, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend the 10th International Symposium of the Australian Aviation Psychology Association (AAvPA). Our tenth symposium will see us again return to Manly, where the symposium series began now two decades ago. Although we might look back on the successes of the last twenty years in aviation human factors and system safety, the theme of this symposium urges us to look forward and maintain or efforts to innovate and respond to the ever changing challenges in the now ultra safe system.

The theme for our 10th International Symposium is "Next Generation Safety" and we will set out to challenge our current thinking and ensure we continue to adapt and innovate. New technology, continued growth, and more complex systems will require our domain to respond with new ways to ensure system safety. In light of these themes we are planning a unique program with new ways to engage with some extremely exciting international and local keynote speakers.

We look forward to keeping you up to date as the symposium program evolves.
