Accommodation

A block booking of accommodation has been booked at Novotel Manly Pacific for the 10th Symposium of the Australian Aviation Psychology Association. Please indicate your accommodation requirements on the online registration form. (coming soon)

In order to secure your room, please provide credit card details which will be forwarded to the hotel directly to secure your accommodation. Please tick the appropriate box on the registration form to authorise the forwarding of your credit card details to the hotel. Full payment of your hotel account will be required at the time of your departure.

Please note: Bookings made after Thursday 18 October 2012 cannot be guaranteed.

For any rooms cancelled prior to arrival or where a delegate does not arrive on the date booked, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged for room nights booked to the delegate.

Rooms are quoted per room, per night, and unless otherwise stated, breakfast is not included.

All bookings, alterations or cancellations should be made to the Professional Symposium Organisers in writing. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the Symposium after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. In the case of a cancellation, delegates must inform the Professional Symposium Organisers in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of registration fees, less a cancellation fee of AUD$110 including GST can only be made if you cancel on or before Monday 22 October 2012.

Refunds will be issued after the Symposium.

Changes/Amendments

Alterations to, or cancellations of your Symposium booking must be advised to the Professional Symposium Organisers via email at or fax to +61 2 6251 0672. Due to administrative requirements, changes and/or alterations advised verbally cannot be accepted.

Disclaimer

The Symposium registration brochure and program is correct at the time of printing. However, the Organisers reserve the right to change the program and registration information where necessary.

Dress

Recommended dress for the Symposium sessions is smart casual.

Liability Waiver

In the event of industrial disruptions, the Symposium and the organisers accept no responsibility.

In the event of the venue becoming unusable, or other circumstances, or the need to cancel the Symposium, there can be no liability on the organisers.

No Smoking Policy

All the rooms at the Symposium venue are NON-SMOKING.

Personal Insurance

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to person or property, including baggage during the Symposium. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy taken should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

Privacy Clause

In registering for this Symposium, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name, organisation and state only), and may be made available to parties directly related to the Symposium including Consec - Conference Management, the Australian Aviation Psychology Association, the Symposium Organising Committee, venues and accommodation providers (for the purpose of room bookings and Symposium options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related Symposiums.

Travel - International

Visa Requirements

Participants of an event or conference in Australia will generally need to apply for a subclass 456 Business (Short Stay) Visitor Visa.
